Ms. Steele

Welcome to the East Lake Elementary Media Center! My name is Carlee Steele, and I’m excited to be entering my fourth year here at East Lake, where I am dedicated to fostering a love of reading and learning among our students.

I’m a proud graduate of the Henry County School System, which has greatly shaped my passion for education. My journey in education has been both fulfilling and rewarding, and it’s wonderful to be back in the community that played such a pivotal role in my own academic life.

Outside of my professional life, I’ve been happily married to my wonderful husband, Cody, for 14 years. We are blessed with two amazing children: Baylor, who is entering his 7th grade year at Union Grove Middle, and Sage, who is thriving in 5th grade here at East Lake.

I’m eager to continue contributing to our vibrant school community and look forward to another exciting year of helping our students discover the joy of reading and learning. Feel free to stop by the media center to say hello or share your favorite books and ideas!
