Mental Health and Wellness Facilitator
Hello East Lake Family! I am Mrs. Singleton, the Mental Health and Wellness Facilitator at East Lake Elementary. I am dedicated to supporting the social, emotional, and academic well-being of all students. I have over 15 years of experience working with youth in both educational and human services settings, supporting students with diverse needs.
My educational background is in Early Childhood Education and Human Services Counseling and I have served in multiple roles within education, including: classroom teacher, EIP teacher, MTSS Chair and Afterschool Program Site Manager. Through these experiences, I have developed a passion for bridging the gap between academic success and mental health support, ensuring that students are equipped to thrive both inside and outside of the classroom.
I am committed to building strong relationships with students, families, and staff, and I believe in a collaborative, whole-child approach to education. I am excited to serve the East Lake community by fostering a positive school climate, supporting staff wellness, and helping every student reach their full potential.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married with four children who keep our lives very busy and fun! I love hosting family game nights, bargain shopping, and attending my children’s sporting events.
