Hello.  My name is Marga Kirschner, and here is a little bit about me.   On a personal note, I enjoy singing, traveling and spending time with my family. Professionally, I have a Specialist degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College. I have been a classroom teacher, a math instructional lead teacher,  and now am serving as the Mental Health Facilitator.  I have been working in the Henry County School System for 27 years.

I am committed to supporting the whole-child.  I am here to help students develop life skills, problem-solving skills, and promote a growth mindset.  I am here as another layer of support for your child and another caring adult who is there for them each day.  

My roles and responsibilities as a Mental Health and Wellness Facilitator include supporting student and staff well-being,  providing  trainings to staff on trauma-informed practices, as well as supporting the school climate and culture.
